The Fontenelle Creek Recreation Site is a good location for camping, boating and fishing. The campground has two handicap accessible campsites, two vault and three flush restrooms, a total of 55 campsites with covered picnic tables and barbecue grills, gravel pathways to restroom facilities, cement road barriers along the road, trash facilities, fenced-in firewood area, as well as a paved route to access reservoir.

Kelley Guard Station is a historic Forest Service guard station built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1933. The cabin attracts overnight guests year-round and provides convenient access to hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. With two sets of bunkbeds, the cabin accommodates up to four occupants. It also has a kitchen with stove.
